Her Story

Yarrow Child, Co-Founder and President of Davrow Bookkeeping LLC, didn’t stumble into accounting — she grew up in it. At 16, she was already working as a billing clerk for a small food processor in Salem, Oregon, building a reputation for reliability and earning key responsibilities that most professionals spend years working toward.

That early foundation carried her through Western Oregon University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her career began in property management, where she developed a broad understanding of operational finance before a pivot to manufacturing introduced her to what would become a defining professional passion: cost accounting.

Over the decades that followed, Yarrow built an unusually wide portfolio of experience — spanning manufacturing, retail, food service, entertainment, and professional services, and working with organizations ranging from small, privately held businesses to Fortune 500 companies. That range is one of her greatest assets: she understands that no two businesses are the same, and that real financial insight requires understanding how a business actually works, not just what the numbers say on the surface.

A well-rounded accountant with a genuine passion for precision, Yarrow co-founded Davrow in 2025 to bring that standard of excellence to entrepreneurs who have the ambition to grow but need the financial support to do it wisely.

When she’s not analyzing numbers or building a spreadsheet, Yarrow can be found enjoying the Pacific Northwest with her two dogs, reading, tending her garden, or working on any number of craft projects — an apt hobby for someone who approaches everything she does with careful attention and creative care.
